All Klarity Low-Temperature Thermoplastics can be easily softened in 65-70°C(150-160°F) water for three minutes or less, depending on the thickness of the material. Thereafter they can be cut and molded to any shape desired. Thermoplastic splints normally set in three to four minutes with a working time of one to two minutes, depending on thickness. Thermoplastic sheets are coated to prevent sudden self-adhesion, but can be easily self-bonded with heat.Klarity supplies a wide range of thermoplastics to meet the needs of making different splints, orthoses and braces.
